Planned Gifts

Simple Ways to Leave a Bequest to North Shore Community Land Trust
As you think about planning your estate, please keep in mind that it can be easy to include a legacy, whether as a gift during your lifetime or at the time of your death, to North Shore Community Land Trust (NSCLT) as part of your estate planning by including a provision in your will or in your trust. The legacy can be completed in the form of cash or real or personal property.

By remembering North Shore Community Land Trust in your planned giving, you help ensure that future generations will benefit from NSCLT’s mission to protect, steward, and enhance the natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and rural character of the North Shore of Oahu. Your gift will truly make a lasting green legacy.

If you wish your gift be used for specific program, please inform North Shore Community Land Trust prior to executing your Will or Trust to be sure we can accommodate your wishes. In addition, your Will or Trust should clearly state the intended program. However, general purpose gifts are typically most helpful to enable NSCLT to address priority issues at the time of the gift.

The following sample wording may be included in your Last Will and Testament or Trust to help ensure your wish of leaving a legacy to North Shore Community Land Trust, but please consult with your attorney first regarding exact wording to specifically meet your needs.
